With this activity we formaly launched "Umang Foundation", this time number of volunteers was some where around 25-30 who attended this activity at H K Chainani Elder's Home Mulund (E)

This activity aims to bring back a smile to the faces at the Old Age Home in Mulund East. There will be singing, dancing, mono-acting and skit, followed by dinner.

Blood Donation Camp

July 24, 2008 : Blood Donation Camp at TCS Kanjurmarg

This was arranged with Saifee Hospital - Blood Bank where 150 Blood Bottles were collected in a day. This was the First Blood Donation Camp by our group.

Promote Education among children

UMANG has already started working towards making a positive difference. The activities already conducted are as follows.

July 05, 2008 : Books & Clothes Donation at Takshashila Vidhyalaya, Ulhasnagar

It is the First Umang Activity as a group, but this time we have not decided with the Name Umang Foundation... but we were continuously try to reach to the consensus where we can have Group Name which is liked by most of the people.

There were only 6-7 friends together gone to the school in Ulhas nagar and it was a big hall where approx 150 students were sitting and school administration has given us a names of 30 children who are good in studies and facing financial problems while looking forward for studies.

We have distributed 1 dozen notebooks and other stationary to all 30 children.
